Shabbir’s Action Reported

Shabbir Ahmed’s bowling action has been reported for the third time in his career following the conclusion of the first test between the West Indies and Pakistan.

The on field umpires David Shepherd and Darrell Hair, TV umpire Basil Morgan, and the match referee Ranjan Madugalle have made the report to the ICC and the Pakistan management team.

Shabbir will now under go further analysis of his action by a member of the ICC’s panel of specialists within 21 days from the Pakistan Cricket Board being officially notified.

This analysis will not affect his place within the Pakistan side until a conclusion has been reached by the ICC.
