Sehwag fined 20% of match fee

Virender Sehwag has been fined 20% of his match fee following excessive appealing during the first Test against the West Indies in Antigua.

Sehwag pleded quilty to match referee Jeff Crowe following the match in breaching point 1.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct which refers to celebrating a dismissal before it has been given out by the umpire.

The teams now head to St Lucia where the second Test starts on 10th June.
