NZ invited to Tri-Series

The Black Caps look set to play against Australia and England in a one-day tri-series beginning next January.

New Zealand chief-executive Martin Sneddon declined to comment, reasoning that Cricket Australia is yet to finalize their Ashes itinerary.

It would be a significant boost to New Zealand’s World Cup build-up, with just 15 matches scheduled between the end of the home summer and the West Indies tournament in 2007.
