NatWest Challange To Go Ahead
Richard Twyman |The final two matches of the NatWest Challenge to be played in at Lord’s and The Brit Oval respectively over the next couple of days will go ahead as planned despite the recent bombing attacks that rocked the capital.
After the MCC & Surrey officials met with the Met police officials it was decided that the matches should go ahead but with security increased at both venues, as a result the MCC have asked for spectators to arrive as early as possible as all the extra checks will take time.
England won the opening match of a three-game series against Australia by nine wickets at Headingley, and will be looking to take the series win on Sunday.
