Muralitharan heading home

Muttiah Muralitharan is to return home to Kandy for the funeral of his aunt who passed away.

Muralitharan is flying out tonight UK time and will return on Sunday, which will give him enough time to prepare for the 1st Test against England starting 11th May.

Muralitharan is not currently involved in Sri Lanka’s tour match against England ‘A’ where Sri Lanka are in trouble after Day 1.
