Murali not to be risked

Muttiah Muralitharan will not be risked in the remaining two one-dayers against England with him still struggling with a bicep injury.

Muralitharan’s manager Kushil Gunasekera had the following to say “He has just started to bowl and is testing his injury out. He wants to be sure before he makes a decision to play and the one-day games against England are out, but he is targeting November’s Australia tour.”

England currently lead the five match series 2-1 with two matches remaining.
