Mac Cricket – an oldie but a goodie

A game we haven’t featured on the site until now is Mac Cricket which was first released 20 years ago in 1989. Thanks to a viewer of Cricket Web emailing us, it is now available for download in the Cricket Web Cricket Games section.

The game features remarkable customizability, from unlimited player-created teams to even the sounds and graphics, a wide variety of statistics (including tracking the user’s games, displaying wagon wheels, etc) and offers easy to learn yet challenging gameplay.

While it is a Macintosh-exclusive game, it runs fine under the Basilisk emulator for Windows.
