Inzi denies retirement rumours
Zac Gelman |Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has denied speculation of an exit from cricket after the World Cup, saying he has no intention of retiring from the game, just yet.
“Definitely I will continue to play as long as I feel I can give the performances and as long as there are no deadlines given for any player to end their career,” Inzamam told Reuters today.
“If I can keep performing well, doing a good job for my country that will be good enough for me to keep on playing.”
By the end of the World Cup, Inzamam will have played nearly 400 One Day Internationals with over 11000 runs at an average of nearly 40 in what has been a prolific and often brilliant career.
