Molehill

International Captain
He doesn’t get paid LIV appearance fees

He’s won 3 tournaments including the British Masters a couple of years ago
He had famously never won on Tour until that British Masters in 2021. His only other win is this Seniors comp (unless you want to include a Challenge Tour event in 2001). No, the bulk of his money has indeed come from LIV (£9m signing on fee). I don't blame him for going, your tweet outlines exactly the stupidity of the money involved. When a boke with the record of Bland suddenly gets offered money like that, you start to realise why they had to pay $600m for Rahm.

Stupid money, stupid tournaments.

Steve Stricker the Champions Tour money list in 2023 with earnings of $4 million

Bland is by far the best over 50 golfer in the world and is being paid market rates

Bland was eligible for the Champions Tour last year and would have made millions anyway

He’s a lot better than Steve Alker (who has made a fortune in a couple of years) as he was 50 in the world at 49 while Alker was 700+
