International Debutant
Just do a poll for ranking the members of the 10000 club
The current poll has them ranked like this

Tendulkar
Lara
Gavaskar
Ponting
Kallis
Border
Sangakkara
Waugh
Dravid
Younis
Root
Chanderpaul
Cook/Jayawardene

Smith will likely end up ranked between Lara and Gavaskar. Kohli could end up between Gavaskar and Ponting. Williamson between Dravid and Root.

Support in favour of Younis is that he batted higher in the order, was great against spin and was a 4th innnings' master, but Waugh was on a higher level. He was better than Tendulkar and Lara for several years and was as important as Warne and McGrath in driving Australia to becoming an ATG team. His double hundred in the Windies changed cricket history.
