England slip in Test rankings

England’s poor Test form since the Ashes has since them slip to third place in the ICC Official Test Championship rankings.

Pakistan have moved ahead of England following victories over England, India and Sri Lanka and if they manage to win the upcoming Test series against England in England they will close to within three points of Australia. England can however re-take second place if they manage to beat Pakistan.

Following the Ashes last year England have lost to Pakistan and drawn with India and Sri Lanka.
