England after Warne as bowling coach

Duncan Fletcher is keen to see if Shane Warne is prepared to get involved with English cricket in lending his skill and knowledge to help young England spin bowlers.

Fletcher told the AAP news corporation that “Someone of that calibre would be very useful for England to use his experience, at any stage during the (northern) summer or at any stage of a player’s career.”

“Not only of a young spinner. Imagine the help he could give to a very, very experienced spinner in the side,” Fletcher added.

Fletcher also said “Not only a spinner. He’s got the capabilities of helping anyone in international cricket on how to play the game.”

Following the conclusion of the fifth Test, Warne was seen spending a considerable amount of time with Monty Panesar.
