Dravid injured during training
Zac Gelman |Indian captain Rahul Dravid has suffered in a injury setback during preparation for his side’s tour of Bangladesh next week.
He obtained the nose injury after being hit on the helmet by a RP Singh delivery and is not expected to take any further part in the training camp.
X-Rays confirmed that there was no fracture or serious damage sustained and Indian team management are hopeful the skipper will be fit to play in the first ODI on Thursday in Dhaka.
Dravid was not the first Indian player to hurt himself in training, after Sachin Tendulkar sprained his right ankle during the week after landing awkwardly whilst trying to fend off a Sreesanth bouncer.
