Black Caps 100% fit

Shane Bond, Scott Styris, Kyle Mills, Daniel Vettori and Jacob Oram have all been passed 100% fit for the Champions Trophy.

The biggest boost for New Zealand is the return of Shane Bond who hasn’t played since being forced home from South Africa in May.

Bond told media that “My fitness levels are the same as they were two years ago.”

“It’ll be nice to get a few overs under my belt. I know I’m ready to go,” he added.

New Zealand’s first match of the Champions Trophy is against South Africa on 16th October at the Wankhede Stadium.
