Anil Kumble and Zaheer Khan recalled

The Indian selectors have recalled Anil Kumble and Zaheer Khan for the one-day component of India’s tour of South Africa next month.

Although India’s failure to make the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy the selectors have decided against making many changes to the squad with only Ramesh Powar and RP Singh missing out on selection.

Although Yuvraj Singh and Ajit Agarkar have been selected in the touring squad both players face pre-tour fitness tests on the injuries they both suffered during India’s Champions Trophy campaign.

Dinesh Karthik and Vikram Singh have been placed on stand-by should one or both them fail to come through.

The first one-dayer of the series starts on 19th November at the Supersport Park ground in Bloemfontein.
