Sachin rules out Test captaincy
Zac Gelman |Despite being a favourite for the job, Sachin Tendulkar has told the BCCI that he will not replace Rahul Dravid as captain of the Indian test side.
Tendulkar, the immediate vice-captain of the side, was expected to regain the top spot after Rahul Dravid quit as skipper earlier in the year.
The master batsman cited personal reasons for not wanting to lead India in the longer format and his withdrawal from the captaincy race makes limited overs captain MS Dhoni favourite for the vacant position.
