Astle, Cairns, Harris for ICL
James Nixon |Former Black Caps Nathan Astle, Chris Cairns and Chris Harris are all set to join the Indian Cricket League media reports are indicating.
Reports claim that Harris are already signed on the dotted line after declining a domestic contract with Canterbury, while Astle and Cairns are expected to confirm their involvement within the next few days.
There is also a fourth New Zealand player who is thought to be close to signing but as yet, that player is unknown, but it is thought to be former captain Stephen Fleming.
Pakistan’s Inzamam-ul Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq, Imran Farhat, West Indian Brian Lara and South Africa’s Lance Klusener and Nicky Boje have already confirmed their involvement in the league which is scheduled to start in October with a series of Twenty20 matches.
