Flintoff hopeful of ODI return

Andrew Flintoff is hoping he will be fit enough to make a return for England during their seven match one-day series against India.

Flintoff is making his return for Lancashire against Sussex later this week as a batsman only.

Flintoff told BBC Sport that “I’m not going to get ahead of myself, it’d be great if I could play against India but there’s a big job to do for Lancashire first.”

Flintoff went onto say “I’ll pick it up over the next week or so but to put a definite date on it is hard. It’ll be sooner rather than later.”
