Schiferli likely to miss WC

Dutch bowler Edgar Schiferli looks likely to miss the World Cup after injuring his hamstring.

The injury occured during the warm up for today’s game against India, the first warm up game for the Netherlands. Team manager Hans Mulder was not optimistic, speaking to Reuters: “He is our experienced opening bowler and it doesn’t look good.”

The 30-year old is already a veteran of one World Cup, South Africa in 2003.
