Sarwan out of ODI series

Ramnaresh Sarwan has ruled out the of West Indies’ one-day series against Pakistan after breaking his foot during the third Test in Karachi.

Sarwan suffered the injury after being hit by a yorker from fast bowler Umar Gul.

The injury was accessed by a local orthopaedic surgeon who confirmed the injury and said Sarwan would need at least four weeks of recovery time.

The first of five one-day internationals start on December 5th in Rawalpindi.
