Harmison sits out SA clash
James Nixon |Steve Harmison has been forced to sit out England?s three day tour match against South Australia that started earlier today due to a side strain.
Although Harmison bowled in the warm-up this morning team management decided it was best to rest him and Sajid Mahmood came into the side in his place.
Harmison missing the game is a big blow to him personally and the team due to him having not had a lot of cricket leading up to the first Test starting at The Gabba next week.
Harmison didn’t play the tour opener against the Prime Minister’s XI and only bowled 25 overs against New South Wales where he took 3-95 and 0-27.
