Umpires named for the Ashes

The umpires have been named for each of the five Ashes Tests with the same four that were used last year being named.

New Zealand umpire Billy Bowden and Steve Bucknor from the West Indies will umpire the first Test that starts on 23rd November at the Gabba in Brisbane.

The full list is shown below:

1st Test – Billy Bowden and Steve Bucknor
2nd Test – Rudi Koertzen and Steve Bucknor
3rd Test – Rudi Koertzen and Aleem Dar
4th Test – Rudi Koertzen and Aleem Dar
5th Test – Billy Bowden and Aleem Dar

Jeff Crowe from New Zealand will be the match referee for the first three Tests, with Ranjan Madugalle from Sri Lanka taking over for the final two Tests.
