Ganguly not giving up

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has not given up on playing in next years World Cup in the Caribbean.

Ganguly has been out of the selectors minds for a while now and last played for India in a one-day international against New Zealand in Harare in September 2005.

Ganguly scored 118 not out for his domestic side East Zone in the Duleep Trophy on Monday, and with Suresh Raina currently struggling with the bat internaionally, Ganguly will be looking to continue to score big to put some pressure on the 19 year-old.

Ganguly has played in two World Cups in his career and has an impressive World Cup average of 81.78 from 844 runs scored with four hundreds.
