Bond, Mills & Styris in doubt
James Nixon |Shane Bond, Kyle Mills and Scott Styris are all in doubt for the Black Caps semi-final against Australia in the Champions Trophy.
New Zealand manager Lindsay Crocker told Newstalk ZB that Bond’s hamstring was still causing him trouble after suffering a twinge during the win over Pakistan.
Crocker went on to say that Bond was doing plenty of pool work along with batting and fielding practice to keep his fitness levels up but had avoided bowling at practice.
Styris is in even more bad shape than Bond because of a buttock strain and is extremely unlikely to take to the field.
Mills is suffering from a tender groin and knee but is expected to be fit enough to play.
