Hussey goes to top of rankings

Mike Hussey has gone to first place in the latest International Cricket Council one-day batsmen rankings for the first time, after continuning his amazing form with the bat in the recent DLF Cup in Malaysia.

Hussey since making his debut against India in February 2004 has played 43 one-day internationals and is averaging 81.75 with one hundred and nine fifites to his name.

On the bowling front, Shaun Pollock has retained first place, but is being put under pressure from Brett Lee who has moved up four places to second in the rankings. Lee took 12 wickets from three games at an average of nine in the DLF Cup.

Pakistan and New Zealand have moved ahead of India in the team rankings after India missed out on making the DLF Cup final.
