Hoggard fit and ready to go

Matthew Hoggard has over-come a knee problem and been declared fit for the final Test against Pakistan starting tomorrow at The Oval.

Hoggard has struggled with the ball in the series to date in only taking seven wickets at an average of 49.85, but remains a key component to England’s success.

Hoggard said England would be going full out for a 3-0 series win in saying “It’s useless us fetching up to The Oval if we don’t want to win. It’s important to us, we’re 2-0 up and 3-0 is a lot better than 2-0 or 2-1.”
