Rain ruins first Unitech Cup match

The first match of the Unitech Cup between Sri Lanka and India has been abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield.

There was heavy overnight rain which has left several wet patches in the outfield and on the bowlers run ups.

A reserve day is in place, so weather permitting play will start tomorrow.
