Daryl Tuffey heads for Sydney

Injured Black Cap Daryl Tuffey is heading for the Sutherland club in Sydney in September to start his come back from a bicep injury.

Tuffey has struggled with numerous injuries over the past year and last played for New Zealand in a one-day international against Australia on February 26 2005 where he completely lost his action and could only bowl two overs which went for 25 runs.

The Sutherland club in Cronulla is also the home of Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath.

McGrath announced yesterday that he has started full training again and hopes to be fit and ready to make his come back in the ICC Champions Trophy in October.

McGrath had taken time out of cricket to care for his wife who is suffering from cancer but her continued improvement has prompted his comeback.
