New ODI uniform for Australia

Cricket Australia have announced that the Australian cricket team will wear a new revolutionary one-day international uniform this summer.

The uniform has been developed by Adidas and has had specific input from Ricky Ponting and the players to get a look that is very traditionally Australian.

The design has been based off the colours of the original “baggy green” and will be released to the public on 14th September 2006.

The first game the Australians will wear the uniform will be on 12th January 2007 against England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
