Ashraful dropped for Fatullah
Matt Pitt |Bangladesh have taken the sensational step of dropping star batsman Mohammad Ashraful for the second ODI against Australia. The man who made a run-a-ball century against the World Champions in last summer’s famous Bangladeshi victory will be replaced by Alok Kapali.
The Tigers’ selectors took the decision based on Ashraful’s lack of form and confidence recently – he made only five from 23 balls in the first game of the current series. Bangladesh have also dropped seamer Syed Rasel in favour of Shahadat Hossain for tomorrow’s game.
