Attapattu out with injury

Sri Lanka captain Marvan Attapattu has been ruled out of the three-match test series in England next month due to a recurring back injury.

Jehan Mubarak has been named as his replacement, while Mahela Jayawardene will take over the captaincy.

Attapattu is expected to recover in time to join the team for the ODIs that follow that follows the Test series which begins at Lord’s on the 11th of May.
