Jayasuriya retiring from Tests
James Nixon |Sanath Jayasuriya has announced that he will retire from Test cricket following the current series against Pakistan.
The positive news for Sri Lankan fans, is that Jayasuriya has said he will continue his ODI career, and will be available for the World Cup in the West Indies next year.
Jayasuriya currently averages 41.76 with the bat and 33.18 with the ball from 101 Test matches. He made his test debut against New Zealand at Hamilton in 1991 at the age of 21.
