Afridi ruled out with rib injury

Shahid Afridi has been ruled out of the remainder of the Pakistan/India one-day series after aggravating a rib injury before the third one-dayer at Lahore.

The Pakistan medical team have advised Afridi to take two weeks rest to recover from the injury.

With Shoaib Akhtar also having been ruled out of the rest of the series Pakistan have lost the fire from both their batting and bowling attacks.

India currently lead the series 2-1 after winning a high scoring match at Lahore yesterday.

The fourth one-dayer which is a must win for Pakistan if they wish to stay in the series is at Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
