Jayasuriya returns to VB Series

Sanath Jayasuriya has returned to the Sri Lankan VB Series squad after recovering from his shoulder injury he sustained during Sri Lanka’s recent one-day series in New Zealand.

Jayasuriya will be available for selection for Sri Lanka’s third game of the VB Series in Sydney against Australia.

On the injury front, Farveez Maharoof has been ruled out of the rest of the series and is being replaced by right-arm fast bowler Akalanka Ganegama.
