Jayasuriya out of VB Series

Sanath Jayasuriya has been ruled out of Sri Lanka’s squad for the upcoming VB Series in Australia due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the New Zealand series.

Sri Lanka have made a few changes to the squad they brought to New Zealand with Michael Vandort replacing Jayasuriya and Avishka Gunawardene and Lasith Malinga being replaced by Chamara Kapugedara and Nuwan Kulasekara.

The first match of the VB Series gets underway on January 13th with Sri Lanka taking on Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
