Langer in, Ntini out

Justin Langer has been included in the squad for the third test against South Africa, while Makhaya Ntini has been ruled out with injury.

Langer’s inclusion is at the expense of Phil Jaques and is the only change within their squad for the third test in Sydney starting 2nd January.

Makhaya Ntini has been ruled out of all cricket until March due to a knee tendon injury sustained during the third test, and has returned to South Africa for treatment. He has said he is hoping to be fit for Australia’s tour of South Africa in March.
