Inzamam, Akhtar, Sami Rested

Inzamam-ul-Haq, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami are being rested for the fifth ODI against England starting later today.

With the one-day series already won, the Pakistan selectors see this as a good chance to try out some younger players ahead of the home series against India starting next month. The players called up to replace Inzamam, Akhtar and Sami are Yasir Hameed, Yasir Arafat and Mohammad Asif.

Younis Khan has been named as captain in place of the rested Inzamam.
