Kyle Mills to have ankle surgery
James Nixon |Kyle Mills has been forced out of New Zealand’s World Cup development tour of Australia to have surgery to correct an ankle injury.
Mills drops out of Team Two, which is captained by Craig McMillan and is replaced by Northern Districts all rounder Joseph Yovich.
Yovich had a mixed domestic season with the ball averaging 36.59 in the State Championship and 28.58 in the State Shield, while in the batting department he averaged 49.72 in the State Championship and 13.20 in the State Shield.
The two New Zealand teams are shown below with the sides playing a series of International A and Academy teams in Australia in June and July.
