Tonight saw players from all around Yorkshire and the world come to YCCC to show what the great club can do as a spectical.
Hosting the night was of course Eddie MacGuire with Blewy as the special guest sitting at the front table with his girlfriend and Jason Pike and Britney Spears.
All players were in line for an award as the season was rather good for all involved.
The first award for One day Player of the Season went to D.West for an unbelievable bat in this grade and the fact it was his first season.
Second was the Four day player of the season, this went to W. Tendulkar for an unbelievable 1300 runs in the season.
Rookie of the year also went to D.West as he was the only rookie of the season.
The Fairest and Best player of the season saw all games together to show the best player of either and both forms. This went to C. Hooper.
Hooper joins C. White and G.Hamilton from previous seasons on the Pavilion wall.
The great man said a few words and then he was presented along with S.Law with a medallion for their tireless effort to cricket for their careers.
At the end of the night most people were a wreck and Jason Pike and Britney Spears were not to be seen until the morning.
This capped off a good season for the Phoenix and hopefully there is more to come for the Great team.
