Colts - TN friendly

if ur interested Shooter i wanna play some more friendly's. just wondering, would we be able to use retiree rookies and rookies blewy?? What do you reckon we should play?

I was thinking 4 OD's and 2 FD's?? 1 home and 1 away in four day and 2 each one day.

up to you though mate.

P.S 4got WP were playing in the play-offs. best of luck to them and i'm sure both warickshire and TN are behind them to beat Canterbury and stay in div 3.

Not sure of the point of friendlies at this stage of the season...
I do have to admit to wondering the point too, your players have played like 20-25 games and yours some of your rookies like 30 odd games.

You should know your players by now ;)

Also if your certian you want to go ahead with this IMO you should wait until after the playoffs and VB Cup - These are the major matches of the season and should get all the focus rather than people simming matches just for the fact they aren't involded.

So who fancies a match then :P

yeah. Its the second time (I think).

Technically this game is friendly, so why should it be considered different? What makes it so special?

it has been going 2 seasons.

it is a tribute to mark waugh but its not a friendly, as there is the trophey / sheild for the winner.

it was introduced between myself and bronco as a local derby.

if you have any problems with this u may want to take it up with the board.

Yes Bug's is right, the NSW vs ACT match is a annual event that has been going for 2/3 seasons now.

The other match is just a match made up on the spot because the managers are bored at not having any matches this week.

Anyway Iam simming the NSW vs ACT match and it will be completed long before the VB Cup Final so wont interfear with it.

Well. What happens if I decide to form a special trophy shield to play off with another team? Would it get specail treatment as well? I mean if I decided to form such a trophy to playoff my local derby against, which ever team are Warwickshire neighbours would it be the same as the Mark Waugh Shield? If WP and TN decided to make this the Hansie Cronje Memorial Sheild wouldn't it be no different to the NSW-ACT one?

It wouldn't be a historic event, so I guess not.
