basically the WCC put a lot of emphasise on experience and the players werent as exceptional with that sim....

ahhh ok so with this sim the higher the averages the better your going to be as the other was to do with high avg but the experience of your players?

my understanding is that it alters averages by itself

eg if a player has 3 games with a batting average of 65, the sim could put that down to say 47. after that this player is likely to bat just as well as a player with 150 games with a batting average of 47...

I traded purely on WCC sim. I disregarded previous performances and only gave credit to performance on the new sim. So therefore I may be doing a fair bit of trading...

that the type of answer i was aiming to get :)

my trading was aimed at aquiring players with good averages. I figured if a players average says 50, even if he has only played 10 games on the WCC sim, he should still go OK. So the change hasnøt really changed anything for me, and unless I'm made a tempting offer by someone after the I wont be doing any trading...

This has actually helped me heaps as i went for youth who have great averages and now it has made my squad look even better, so no trading for me...

just realised i have caddick in my side, and i dumped two blokes that could have potentially done well. i picked caddick on experience + recent results:(

no chance of a swap eh blewy?:)

yay! Wesley Jones was kept home for the academy and will get a start fo sho now. His strike rate had me concerned because of my doubts over WCC Sim. But he will hopefully become a star. Also his 'cousin' Malcolm Jones should rock with the ball now in the four dayers. Upashantha chances of getting a regular start look in jepardy.
I'm also hopeful that Howarth can regain his VC4 form where he averaged in the 80s.

The change of sim has definitely thrown a cat amongst the pigeons, but beggars can't be choosers, so we've all got to grin and bear it and get on with it!
Certainly changes things though.

ive looked through some potential line ups, and with the new sim, im predicting a few teams could emerge this season, i wouldnt be surprised to see TN go all the way and maybe even pick up 2 titles in their divisions.....
