To say anyone at this age whose name is not Sachin Tendulkar will be an ATG but generally at the age of 21 if you can score a century in Aus coming in at 8 (and a very measured century) with your team under pressure that’s a sign that you have the potential to have a real test career. I also liked that he trusted his technique and played with a very straight bat.

I looked at his domestic record and questioned why is he selected. Though in my defence that was when he was selected for the T20 team. I forgot to cast doubts before his test debut.
