Richards might be better but how much in comparison with Boycott

Even if era adjustment takes Richards favour...openers tax takes Boycott's favour.
Both failed in New Zealand, while Richards stuggled in Pakistan..Boycott didn't struggle anywhere then what makes Richards so ahead of Boycott than entertainment.

what the ****, I fell out my chair looking at this and now I'm being asked if I'm okay.
But No, Richards has multiple ATG tours, is the greatest touring batter of modern era in Australia and England, was sensational in India as a debutant and in old age and have definitely done more in India than Geoffrey, and his Pakistan numbers are amazing in context and obviously much larger sample size there, and he actually faced Imran on landmines and averaged something stupid. Geoffrey is multiple levels below Viv, he's more comparable to Peter May.

Sigh. Unlike some I am not going to repeat my arguments over and over. All you need to know is I think Richards was the 3rd best bat of his generation. Like Waugh or Ponting, or Williamson.
