It's 2-2 nowTechnically equally great. Tendulkar's stroke play makes him a bit superior.
Voted for Gavaskar because he didn't had any vote.
It was ugly to watch imo.Come on. Sachin Tendulkar's technique was about as perfect as anyone is ever likely to see in a top level batsman.
Gavaskar was great in his own right, but this isn't close.
In fact, Tendulkar probably takes this over every other batsman I've ever seen play cricket. He was immaculate.
Sachin? It was ugly to watch imo.
YupSachin?
Technically both are equal. What makes Tendulkar over Gavaskar is his adaptability, Strokeplay and Longevity. Gavaskar didn't have any technical weakness. He might have struggled with swing, but that isn't related to his technique.Come on. Sachin Tendulkar's technique was about as perfect as anyone is ever likely to see in a top level batsman.

I don’t think his stature is something to be arrogant about. Unless he’s standing next to Gavaskar.Sachin arrogant?
Considering his fame, talent and stature in and off the field; he is as humble as one can get
Because of his arm guard? It was ugly to watch imo.
No they aren't.Technically both are equal.
I am referring to his play. If a bowler hit him with a bouncer, next bouncer will disappear usually, where as Gavaskar would normally duck and let it go. He is a very down to earth man in the society (Not so Gavaskar, who behave like a prick sometimes). Don't mixup the two.Sachin arrogant?

Sachin certainly had a very large sense of self as a Batsman.Sachin arrogant?
