What? Why is that a criteria for being the greatest inning ever?

That was probably the most improbable century ever. Scored those runs in 77 minutes (estimated to be 76 balls), turned the game on it's head which was supposed to be another obvious defeat, definitely deserves a mention imo.

Also Perera and Stokes innings are great for taking the match situation into account, but in terms of pure batsmanship, I don't think they're really there.

Highly underrated innings nowadays. Certainly one of the classics. Arguably the Classic

I think 4th innings chases get overrated a bit in general. Match situation is ofc an important factor, but opposition, conditions and just the batsmanship on display in general, should be given more weightage I feel.
