Amarnath got some crazy numbers overall…30ish in home conditions…nearly 55 in Australia and West Indies

Hazare being there makes me feel like FC performance were included; so, Merchant should definitely be ahead of Sehwag (possibly even ahead of Kohli if LOI's aren't considered)

Everyone you mentioned was better than him IMO so he's not top ten. Maybe Ganguly too, but I can't think of anyone else who'd challenge him - we're probably down to Rahane and Rohit who he was better than - so he's still top 15.

He didn’t play in the black and white era, he has a poor record in the subcontinent and he doesn’t have a high peer rating.
