The deadline for the announcement of the World Cup Squads is Midnight on 31st December Monaco time.

Why Monaco time? It's not exactly a Cricket hotbed!

Well I haven't a clue about the real reason, but it must have something to do with the timezones etc, making it fair to every country... So one side doesn't have to be summited at 4am etc...

Or more likly the big boss running the WC, is off on holiday to Monaco and wants it fitted around his day.

Monaco is one hour from GMT, but it seems a bit wierd designating Monaco time. Hmm, it's a tax haven - is there a link?
