What is your best non-ATG XI?

A bit exhausting to just select players who are elite.

Pick your best XI of players that you do not personally categorise as ATGs.

Tough choices were keeper and spinner

Knott I feel deserves to be classed as ATG. So AB was the best batsman who was a quality keeper though only part time. Otherwise perhaps Flower. If I went for a more traditional keeper off the top of my head perhaps Marsh.

Spinner was tough to draw the line between the 4th place contestants for spinners and ATG level. So sucks to be you deadly. I guess this is me saying Ashwin and those other blokes are all ATG. Could go Gibbs another day

Miandad (I would put Dravid but many consider him ATG)

Why abd is not a ATG?
At his batting position his average is second highest after clark.
