Definitely been co-opted by the "men's rights" movement, anyway. I once started to watch a documentary on the topic called The Red Pill. It wasn't very good.

Bluepill in this case would be to assume that women embellishing or straight up making up cases of ***ual assault for their own gain or for revenge, is completely unlikely.

This despite the fact that many white women did so against black men during slavery/Jim Crow. See the Emmett Till case.

Another answer would be, because they lusted after and desired the black man, and wanted to absolve themself of the blame in their mind. They wanted to put it entirely on another person.
