Western Province Press Release

Slats4ever

International Vice-Captain
<<To managers of all WCC clubs>>
<<14th of August 2003>>
<<Trades for next season>>

The following players will not be traded:
R Llewellyn
I Nelson

The following players will be traded if a good deal can be struck:
F Rickman: (very good bat) Perhaps the rookie of the year. A player who came to the club, and was originally struggling for a spot in a talented line up, broke his way in and is now the number 1 bat. Avging 60 this year in 4 day and with an avg of 40 for one day games, it will take a good price to take him from WP.

B Lee: (international bowler) The name says it all. Still a youngster Lee guarantees years of faithful service to any club, and wickets to go with it. He comes with a glowing reference from Bugs, and a good year at WP, where he bowled unrewarded. His avg in 4 day is calculated at 24 and one day is calculated at 20. Snap him up while you can.

The following players are open for trade talks.
V Laxman (avges 50+ in 4 day and high 30's for one day, good value)
N Astle (goot od bat, and solid 4 day)
M Richardson (good 4 day opener and solid 1 day)
L vincent (good keeper, spent last year at NSW with great figures, didn't get a go this year)
H Ackermann (good 4 day bat 40+ and 30+ one day)
R Irani (the name says it all with this ar)
R Telemachus (currently avgin under 20 with the ball 4 day, will find it hard to leave the club)
K Hogg (The tightest little bastard in o day. economy rate of 50. s/r of 47 in 4 day. worth checking out)
G Mail (great batting keeper in both forms)
A Prince (awesome batting keeper)
N McKenzie (avgs 40 in 4 day and 30's in OD)

So there you have it. Email or talk to me on MSN about interests.
